17 November 2017 –– Rhodes, Greece

SUN, SUN, SUN!! Finally found the Greek HELIOS!!  

Well, we’ve reached the most eastern port of our voyage and tonight we turn westward and start our trek back home!

What a beautiful city Rhodes is!!  A walled medieval city dating back to the Knights and King John.  We strolled and strolled and strolled, and drank in the scenery and we were awed by the feeling we were there in the period of the Knights and horses running up and down the stone-lined streets.

And look – Robbi finally found her knight in shining armor!!

 Cars and scooters and shops operating in the midst of the medieval city.  Streets and sidewalks made of pebbles stood on end, took the place of cobblestones. It was amazingly comfortable to walk on – they were so smooth.

We thoroughly enjoyed this city – a place to definitely return to!
